Tai chi Long Beach Class Schedule

Join us each week for Tai chi in Long Beach. We offer many different classes that accommodate beginners, advanced, and all ages.

Please dress up warmly (including a hat & shoes) for exercise early in the morning. For those attending the class for the first time, please arrive a few minutes in advance, in order to complete registration for the class.

At Health Arts Institute, we offer holistic exercise with Tai chi to promote your health and well being. All of our classes are offered to support your total wellness of body and mind!

Doctor Matthew Vo: Tai chi Master

 
Dr. Vo started training in martial arts over 40 years ago. He had a Black belt in Taekwondo and learned many other martial arts, before focusing on Tai chi for more than 30 years. During his kung fu journey, Dr. Vo had the fortune of learning with many premier grandmasters, including descendant of monks from the Shaolin Temple in China.

In addition, Dr. Vo received his Western medical training from some of the best medical institutions - including Harvard Medical School. And he has practiced medicine full-time for more than 15 years.

Dr. Vo has taught Tai chi / Qi gong / Meditation for many years, and his students received many benefits from his teachings – including relief from pain, arthritis, high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, heart disease, thyroid disease, infertility, depression, dementia, and even cancer! Dr. Vo believes practices of Eastern medicine can bring about amazing benefits and complement Western medicine very well!
